Joe Middleton, DNP, APRN, NP-C, CEN, CC/NRP
Executive Director
Dr. Joe Middleton, DNP was appointed as Executive Director of Hart County Ambulance Service in March 2016 by the Board of Directors. At the time of his appointment, Dr. Joe had over 22 years of service with the organization.
Dr. Joe is a National Registry and Critical Care Paramedic with serveral years of experience in both the ground and helicopter EMS industries. He has supervisory and management experience in both the governmental and private sector along with several years involement in nursing management with an emphasis on the emergency department, quality assurance, and quality improvmenvt. His education includes Associate Degrees in Nursing and Paramedicine along with a Bachelor of Science in Nurisng, all from Western Kentucky University. He has also attained a Master of Science Degree in Nurse Education with a Family Nurse Practitioner Post-Masters Certificate (certified by the AANP), both from Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky. In December 2016, he completed his education and doctoral project being awarded a Doctor of Nurse Practice Degree, also from Spalding University in Louisville.
